You can find several sites that give much different information if you do a google search. How to play, music to print and play etc. You use a "special key" to tune the instrument.
: : we moved into and old house and came upon this old mandolin guitar it has 46strings, on the inside it has, THE IMPERIAL CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC, ON THE LABEL, ON THE OUTSIDE ITS BLACK WITH A LITTLE PIC OF A MANDOLIN ON IT AND IT SAYS PATTEN MAY 29 1894 IT HAS A HANDEL ON IT AS WELL COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INFO ON IT
