        Lissen up mon! fer startas ERIC plays the bass, not Bud…he use a kustom build bass built by Dan McDonald. Da "Green Ripper" is made entirely of maple and haz an ebony fretboard. He use G&L Humbucker pickup in da middle an a DiMarzio pickup fer da neck. Den he plug straight into a SVT head an cabinet.

          Ok you’re both wrong. He used a Ernie Ball Music Man bass. Dude unless your son is a prodigy at the bass and really careful don’t buy him one. They’re too expensive for a kid.

      Early in the morning? What song are you talking about? What I Got maybe? And what kind of tab you need? Bass? You’re really bad at being specific. But my band play’s the song What I got and i’m the bassist so i’ll help you.

        this would be a very cool site but most of the tabs i checked were wrong. you cant believe everything you see on the internet. your best bet would be to get an idea from these tabs and then get the rest by ear.

      Well, Id never heard of Sublime doing this song, so downloaded it from someone on WinMX and I dont know how you all think that this is Sublime covering this song?
      All these posts saying, "Im 100% sure this is Bradley"….Have you ever HEARD Bradley sing before? The people singing/rapping in this song sound absolutely NOTHING like Bradley or Sublime. This is some crappy wannabe band. Sublime has NEVER done No Woman No Cry and Bradley has never guested on someone else’s verison of it.
      This is not Sublime or Bradley.

            yeah i also wondered about this song
            the vocals sound like brad about 50% of the time, but i thought it was odd…
            i stumbled upon the mp3 on bearshare and liked it, but i never knew sublime did a no woman no cry cover and to my knowledge it wasnt on any albums/bootlegs etc, and it certainly didnt sound like one of the ones recorded in janie nowell’s sewing room hahah
            i also wondered about the ‘marijauna in the house tonight’ thing… i wasnt sure what the singer was saying but when someone mentioned the word murder-one, i can see that they are right – the singer is saying ‘murder-one in the house tonight’ not ‘marijauna in…’ so this is by murder-one
            thats a bummer 🙁 i already put it onto a sublime mix of mine haha…
            oh well these murder-one guys dont sound to bad – ill have to look into them 😀

            sublime did do a version of no woman no cry, and they sing "everything’s gonna be alright, everything’s gonna be alright, marijuana in the house tonight, and everything’s gonna be alright," and at the end they say "put that in your pipe and smoke it." it’s brilliant, and i’d like the tab too! no mislabel.

              Sublime definitely did not do a cover of no woman no cry….any true sublime fan would be able to tell that the voice sounds nothing like bradley nowell’s and and you would have to be straight up ignorant not to hear them say "murder one in the house tonight"…listen closer bro….and if ya still don’t agree with me…why dont ya pick up a copy of murder one’s album "american junkie" and listen to track 6……then tell try telling me that the song is by sublime

                You have got to be kidding me, Murder One is some ameteur band from the UK and they only have about 5 songs period, there is no mention anywhere about them covering that song!
                It does sound a lot like Bradley…and it is something he would cover, and probably like that.

                  k you can’t listen to that song and say it’s not brad singing. maybe he hit up a duo with murder one or something, but its for sure bradley’s vocals. if it wasn’t, why would so many people think it is? they wouldn’t just listen to it and decide to pretend it’s by sublime. you’re right, it’s not on any of their albums but it’s his voice, i’m pretty sure he’s even creditted in the "american junkie" album by murder one. hope that cleared somethin up.

                    Dude…I still don’t see how you think that the vocals sound like Bradley’s. First of all the reason why every one thinks that the song is by sublime is because somebody put it on the mp3 servers as a mislable. The song was duplicated and downloaded all over from different servers which is why there are so many versions of the mislabeled mp3’s available. Another thing….The American Junkie Album is dated June 8, 1999, and Bradley passed away May 25th, 1996. Look in the credits in the American Junky Album….hmmm…Bradley’s name is no where in sight. They certainly did not give him credit…..because he never did anything with Murder One…seeing as how he passed away 3 years before the Murder one album was released. Murder one just started to release albums a while after Bradley passed away. So it is very doubtful that Bradley ever did anything with murder one, let alone even heard of them.

              It’s not a mislabel. A lot of people think its Long Beach Dub, but the vocals arn’t RAS-1 or Opie, it’s definately Bradley.

Few would attempt such a feat. I’m looking for a workout, I’ve begun transcribing it by ear, but it is excrutiatingly slow. I would appreciate any help you old classical pros could lend.       the part that goes "thought i might drown…" is D-C-Am-G

      It just switches between F and C untill the chourus part ("you should have seen all the flops…") which goes G-F-C, Dm-F-C. As for the remix part, buy a turntable.
