Ibanez LGB300 George Benson Signature Guitar
Ibanez has recently unveiled the classic looking Ibanez LGB300, the newest member of their George Benson signature series.
With over 30 years of collaboration experience, George Benson and Ibanez has come up with a new George Benson model, the LGB300, sporting a classic finish, larger body and wider neck profile for better playability.
The LGB300 is a good looking guitar, I am very much impressed with its elegant vintage yellow sunburst finish. The overall look will mostly likely endear any jazz guitar aficionado. At the core of the guitar is a body that features George Benson specified tonewoods - spruce top with flame maple back and sides. A nice binding, black pickguard and two bound "f" holes add further embellishments to the natural beauty of its archtop design.
Stability and intonation is addressed by the LGB300's 3pc Maple set-in neck design. This is further reinforced by the installed Gotoh SG510 machineheads and the beautifully designed ebony bridge. This 24.75" scale guitar has a 305mm radius fretboard which allows for smooth playing.
The Ibanez LGB300 comes equipped with dual Super 58 pickups that are designed to capture and deliver the nuances of jazz playing and the biting growl of blues.
The Ibanez LGB300 has a MSRP of $5,575. For more information, you can visit Ibanez.
