      1. Try this for Reasons Why, close but not perfect
        RT

        Chrif

Try a capo on fret 1, he is doing a hendrix/bluesy kinda thing. This isnt quite right but kinda close.

The first chord is an Eminor hammering off and on the G on the high e string. You can add the b string too but it is harder to do.

Then go to a G but play note on string above the high e a and leave the high e open

Then go to a D hammering off the note on the high e string, you can add the weird bass note by holding down the the note on the low E string with your thumb that is a G note with the capo on.
Then go to an A leave off the botto note of the chord and hammer like you did in the first chord,
Good luck, I just got the CD on 2/14 so I am working on it. Let me know if you figure it out.
        I love this CD.

        RT

that is : : if anyone has any tabs or chords or charts for "reasons why" i would love it

      Nate

: Can you get me the chord chart and tab for When You Come Back Down by Nickel Creek?

It’s not all too tough to figure it out. On the guitar it’s capoed on the 2nd fret and they’re variations on an A7, C# major, & B in the verses, and then in the refrain its A, E, B, C# major, & B.

        Thank you!!!

        1. I've got your chords
          Tom

its goes somewhat like this, i dont have the music with me, but i can remember it.

          capo 4

          Intro/Chorus:

          D G Bm A Repeat

          Verse:

          F#m G D A

then where is a tricky part where you go from E to F#m to Bm to Bm/A (you take for finger off the bar and put it only on the high E sting) then you go right to E to F#m to Bm to A

sorry i dont have the words but thats it, the chorus repeats and so does the verse.

          TOM

          1. Re: I've got your chords
            Jim

The post from Tom was close. Except the F#m is not a minor, it is just F#.

            : capo 4

            :
            : Intro/Chorus:

            : D G Bm A Repeat

            : Verse:

        1. Reasons Why (tablature)
          Brad Kik

THIS IS NOT COMPLETE, but should get you started…

          F min =X 8 10 10 9 8
          D# =X 6 8 8 8 6
          C# =X 4 6 6 6 4
          A# =6 6 8 8 6 6

          Intro : Fmin, D#, C#, D#; Fmin, D#, A#, C#/D#
          First verse repeat
End of verse add Fmin, D# then
          Second verso repeat

This is really bare bones, I know.. and I haven’t figured out the chorus yet, and only started to get the solo down. Of course, it would also be easier to capo on 1 and play Em, D, C, and A, but it’s not the same sound. Hope this helps. Email me at [email protected] with any questions.

          1. Re: Reasons Why (tablature)
            Shane

They play this song with a capo on the first fret. Playing… Em, D, C, D…and then Em,D,A,C,D
            The chorus is….
            D C G
Climb high to the highest rung…..etc…
            A7 D Em G C D
Others have excuses, I have my reasons why.

            🙂

            Shane
