Aguilar Amplification announces new DB Series bass cabinet color

Aguilar Amplification has announced the expansion of their DB series bass cabinets to include a new color: White Hot. The new color will make its debut at booth 5270 during the 2009 winter NAMM show in Anaheim. Aguilar’s DB series cabinets are a proven hit with bass players.

The DB series bass cabinets feature extended low-end, smooth treble and a focused midrange that allows the bass to cut through any mix. DB cabinets are available in 112, 212, 412, 115, 210, 410 and 810 speaker configurations. The White Hot tolex cabinets also feature a contrasting burgundy and black grill cloth, silver piping and the famous silver and black Aguilar logo.

White Hot joins the four other eye-catching colors of the DB line: Classic Black, Chocolate Thunder, Monster Green, and Boss Tweed. Aguilar CEO Dave Avenius says of the DB cabinets, “So much of performance, especially for rock music, is about a fashion show. Why should guitarists have all the cool-looking gear?”

Aguilar’s White Hot bass cabinets will be available at Aguilar dealers worldwide beginning January 2009. MSRP $699-$2099 depending on the model.
