I’m starting to mess around with some power chords (Iron Man, main riff, 6th string root), but I’m having problems with that little slide, G5 to F#5. When I bend my pinky down, it curves down under my ring finger. I think its holding me back from reaching that extra fret. Is this natural, or a little extreme? Been playing for 8 months now, and I think I’m gonna take the big step to getting lessons (I’m gonna be nervous as hell). I don’t know if I should take my electric or my acoustic. I want to work on barre chords so I’m leaning toward the the electric, because it’s easier to fret/play.

Been playing for 7 months now and I have the open chords down pretty good. I’m working on the B chord for over a week now with no improvement. Its really holding me back on alot of songs and I’m getting very discourged. Is there a way to “cheat” on the B chord? I know
