        I think he does it in an open E tuning with a capo on the first fret. If you listen to the cut on the CD, it’s higher. But the one on the single cd has the acoustic version. I saw him do it on TV and have figured it out in open E. E B E Ab B E Good luck

      Okay well all i have to say is if you’re playing Yngwie you shouldn’t really need a tab, blue is a great song but he uses alot of patterns over and you should be able to get it by ear(if you’re playing yngwie at least you should be that good?) because I can play most of it by ear, thought some parts I’m not exact..

      Note:: i’ve only been playing guitar since last march 🙂

          I have an ORIGINAL LP, I purchased from Jamie Brockett in the late 60’s, and I have a reprint from the 70’s titled "Remember the Wind and the Rain".

          That song was banned from air play (radio) in the 60’s, and Jamie had to travel the country to sell them out of a suitcase, because record stores wouldn’t carry them either.

      I was just surfing and was surprised to find Jamie Brockett on the I-Net. I have a perfect copy of the LP. Bought it many years ago after hearing it on radio station KAAY broadcast our of Little Rock, Ark. on a program they ran called "Beaker Street."

      Has this been re-released on any other medium? If so, please advise as I am reluctant to play my LP as it is in mint condition.

      A long time ago in New London, my roomate and I were doing the same thing. I did the talking and he did the playing. We would sit for hours working throuigh the song and always go stumped on one particular area. One night in Providence RI we were performing and his hand got so tired he took a break by continuing to strum but lightly resting his hand on the frets and that seemde to be the missing link.

      Try it and see if it still works.

          I have an old cassette tape cut from a 33-1/3 album back in the 70s. Still in very good condition and still a crackup. I could make an MP3 and/or WAV file of it, but I’ll have to dig out my pc-compatible tape player and futz around with it a bit to get everything right. I’ve done it to most of my old albums on tape, but I didn’t do Jamie’s piece. Jim

              I don’t have the tabs but it sounds pretty easy. I’ve got a 10 mb mp3 of the song that’s pretty clear if anyone wants it and has a mailbox that can handle that size attachment.

        You need to down tune by a semitone on all strings for basically all the unplugged album(then the chord positions for WDYSLN are(using E shape-barre chords on all to get that nice slidey sound):
        E AG B E
        Actual chords Eb, G#, F#, A#,Eb
        I think the original leadbelly version was in standard EADGBE tuning – not certain but i think so.
        Hope this helps

        psstt.. it’s in G.. Play a bar G chord and fuck around with it. The harmonic he’s using is in G also, which is the DGB strings at the 12th fret. Then the verse is: G, Bm, D-C and the bridge/solo whatever goes back and forth between D and C. It’s easier than it sounds, but yes, the song kicks Ass…
