I just got one question, how come Cliff refused a DNA-test against a lock of Jims hair? Well, if they would find out that he’s not his son, someone would probably sue his ass (record company?).

I’ve been a fan of this band for years and even read an interview Cliff did and he said he did do a DNA test and the Morrison lawyers know the results and that is precisely why they have never sued him for either using the name {which he changed from his mothers maiden Marsden} or making the claims that he is Jims son.
But one thing, I just wish he would update his singing style. Way too Doorsy sometimes. He would do better with a godsmack or creed sound.

Ha Guys and Chicks, I Met Cliff Morrison at a Friends House in Venice Beach California, He Was Drunk and Smoking a Cigar a Fat one, I did not no who he was at the time but that was soon to change. I was going to Play so Basket ball with My friend Steav, We were at his mom and Dads Apartmen and out of the blue hafe way down the steps I Run back up to the Door and Open It, Poke My head in it and Say to Steavns MOM and Dad do you Like THE DOORS? The Reply YES, I sead COOL and Handed Steavns DAD a Tape Of THE BEST OF THE DOORs, His dad was Happy, Then he sead somthing to me Like You wanna Meet Jim Morrisons Son, Hell I sead Quit Kidding Jim Morrison Dont have a son, I sead, He (Smiled) Then he told his son My Friend Steavn To Bring me to meet Cliff I was Very Suprised To See This Guy for Sure. We talked a Bet about Him being Morrisons son, Then He Sead He liked My My Leathers I just Looked Hopeing he wasnt going to rob me..LOL He was Suprised with My looks Thow he would try not to Look so hard at me, Only because I look like the Twin of Morrison all the way to the Nose,And I Asked him if he played THE DOORS, THE LISARD KIGS BAND… My FAV.
He Told me sometimes and I was happy with the Truth he had told, After a Few hours we went back up the steps and Went into steavns Apt
and Somked Some GREEN Stuff and Talked about how win he makes It Big how He Wont forget the little people. Shortly later we went do steps agin and he sead he had to go out, Most likely to Party, He went in to Tim Patricks Apartment the down the steps Guy Cool Hu, He Gave My a FREE COPY OF His First CD THE LISARD SUN BAND. Then He went, I Guess Im Happy with the Fact I got to meet the Man of The Guys Music I love THE MOST, Jim Morrison……R.I.P…… KEEP YOUR HEAD UP GUYS

the first date was last night at 6th and Mesa during our first thursday even.. the next show
will be December 11, 2000 at 8pm at Sacred Grounds Coffee Shop at 6th and Mesa..
there will be 7 shows this month at Sacred GRounds.. Pass the word.

I am writing this to locate Mr.Cliff. He will know who this is as soon as he reads this. I also wanted to know if the band was going to play in San Diego at anytime. I haven’t sceen Cliff since he recored in our studios and it really sucks to not have the chance to see him play live again…like his father..he ROCKS in concert. So if anyone find Cliff, tell him Melissa is looking for him 🙂
Cliff is in Orange County right now and is practicing with his new band to get ready to play out again. He should be doing concerts soon in a few weeks. He recently did a show at ‘Sacred Grounds’ coffee house in San Pedro (Near L.A.) i will try to make this short .im a musican in the los angeles california area.another guitarist i know has a home studio> earlyer this year we started doing blues gigs in the area seeing how we were not working in a study band !!anyways!!!!while over at the studio in may of this year>some guy thats a friend of the guy that ownes the studio comes by with this guy with long red hair claiming to be the son of jim morrison! sure he sings like him! alot of people do> he told us that he wanted us to be the new lizard son band .and that we would be touring europe this fall>what i coudnt figure out was why cliff had no place to live?no money!!!!that came to lite when we saw that he is stung out on heroin!its understandable being broke when you are hooked>but jim morrisons kid would never have to worry about money>would he???cliff is now in jail on possesion charges<drugs> that he didnt take care of> i wish he was jims son> we all do!!! but our opinions have changed do to certain events that took place>>never the less>>>keep cliff in your prayers to be deliverd from heroin>>>once again i hope im wrong!!!if im right we will always have the music!!! god bless

I just spent three nights in LA with my band "Elsewhere Fine" and we met Cliff. We hung out with him for two nights. Trust me. He is Jims son. We jammed with him one night and a studio called "The Vibe Room". When he was singing, sometimes if I closed my eyes, I could have sworn it was Jim singing. Even though I’m not sure he’d like me saying that.
Has there been any DNA testing done on Cliff? Who is his mother? Just because they act the same doesn’t mean shit. Maybe he’s just a punk who’s got the last name of Morrison and wants to make his band big by saying that Jim was his father. From all the info that I have read on Jim, he had no children, so I’m not going to believe this shit until some proof is given.

Do you know how hard Gerald Pitts of Rodeoswest.com is working trying to get anyone from the Doors attention. Jim Morrison is alive. Rodeoswest has sent certified letters and a vhs video to all the Doors and Jim’s family and they are just returned to him. He has also sent them notarized legal documents to prove it to them.
