Does anyone know about Takahara? I find nothing on the internet. I have been asked to find a value for a 1974 guitar in very fine condition. All I want is a ballpark figure, and nobody seems to know. Thanks for any help.

Your guitar is one of the sweetest sounding guitars from Japan. Hand made, thin neck and long fingerboard. Can be appreciated by a real player. Cost can go from $150 on the mainland USA,to $1000 in Hawai'i. Personally, I prefer it to the best Takamine or Martin....Good luck.

I have a vintage student classical guitar. "Handcrafted in Japan by Yairi & Son. Year 1968, Serial # 252, Model # 250." It's in perfect condition as far as I can tell. Can anyone clue me in on what it might be worth?

I have a 1982 Dauphin Concert Special Classical guitar made by the Sakuria Company. Does anyone know how to contact the company?? I had Dauphin do a appraisal on it back in the 90's and it was valued then at 3500.00.

YAIRI & SONS VINTAGE 1969 MYSTERY GUITAR

i have this guitar near mint condition its a 1969 tairi and son serial#137 model 680 or 650 (its hand written) it has a burned in stamp on the inside that says yairi, gakki nagoya made in japan. any info on this weird anomolie of a guitar (i cant find anything anywhere about it. any info would be helpful
