Daylighter Express New from Kauer Guitars & the Mean Green GuitarSite Machine

Kauer Guitars are one of those interesting smaller companies that turn out some quite different designs.

Their latest offering is the new Daylighter Express which highlights the wood grain in an interesting way as you can see from the picture.

Kauer had received a lot of requests to produce a 2 pickup version of their Daylighter JR model, and the result is this completely redesigned Daylighter Express.

So how did they know that’s what guitarists were really asking for?

Well, I’m glad you asked!

Kauer have a wonderful tool for designing your own custom versions of their guitars.

To illustrate this point, below is a screenshot of one I designed which I call the “Mean Green GuitarSite Machine”. You can do the same by using their Guitar Builder Tool (it’s heaps of fun to play with).
