        C’mon now people. Bad Day??? You really need someone to tab that song for you? Use the best tool a guitar player has…your ear, not guitar sites on the internet. I’m just teasing a bit, I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t need help sometime too, but that song is so damn basic (as are all of Fuel’s songs) you could throw darts at any open chord chard and find the right chords.

        can someone explain to me how in the beginning of bbmak’s back here they get that sound out of the acoustic guitar? i’d greatly appriciate it, i really want to learn how to play that song, but so far, the sound hasn’t been too close.

      Err, whatever???

      This is how i interpret stan, it sounds right, if u adjust your tuning + use a cappo on 5th fret, here goes:

      Am Fm? Gm?
      -5—8—-10—————————–
      -5—8—-10—————————–
      -5—10—12——————————
      -7—10—12——————————
      -7—8—-10—————————–
      -5—x—-x—————————–

      I couldn’t be bothered to write the strumming pattern, sorry(!), you’ll have to figure that out yourself. Focus on the upstrokes when u play, missing the lower sounding strings (E,A,D) after a few beats. Remember that the guitar is not all that loud in Stan, the bass makes the song, the guitar helps it along a bit. Improvise!!!!
