Guitar Pee

You read it right, Guitar Pee is a custom urinal designed to let you play a guitar in a bathroom – with your pee.

We’ve seen chairs, tables and toilet seats that resemble a guitar, but this one takes it to the next level by making actual guitar sounds.

Guitar Pee looks simple enough, a Strat like neck is bolted into a urinal that serves as its body and controller. The urinal is then connected via what appears to be an audio jack into an amplifier of sort which captures and produces the sounds.

Thankfully there are no user video demonstrations of this product… yet, but we can easily imagine how it works. No, you don’t have to pluck the string like contraptions on the urinal, you just have to carefully target the contraptions to produce wailing electric guitar sampled sounds.

The awkward fun doesn’t end there because Guitar Pee saves your music into “MPee3” and makes it available online for download. You just have to write down the number that the amplifier provides for you, and use that number on GuitarPee’s website while browsing with your mobile phone.

Guitar Pee is a cool idea, but I think it will cause unnecessary lines at comfort rooms that really need them – bars where people drink and pee – so they better put multiple units for “intimate” jamming sessions. They might want to consider taking it to the next level by putting up a full band version with Bass Pee, Keys Pee and Drums Pee to accommodate the masses and provide creative albeit awkward full band jamming between strangers that pee.

This cool contraption was created by Billboard Brasil and is set to tour around Sao Paulo music bars. It is a project that affirms Billboard Brasil’s Tagline: “Music. We Know it comes from everywhere.”.
