Hi, I’m back with the second half of the TV theme lesson. I’ve had some nice feedback on part 1, so you should really enjoy the ‘hook’. I found some interesting chord voicings for the chorus, easy on the fingers, interesting for the ears.

Go to Guitar for Beginners and Beyond … follow the weekly lesson link.

Here is the latest feedback I received about my book PlaneTalk – The Truly Totally Different Guitar Instruction Book from Keith who lives in Massachusetts:

“I played the guitar for over 20 years and put it down in 1993 after hitting a wall and not being able to move past it. About 9 months ago I picked up the guitar again intent on changing my approach. Then, when I read your book, a light turned on! Your book has completely changed my approach to the guitar, so much so that my musical focus is now about acquiring the language of various genres and players, rather than trying to navigate the fingerboard. Your concept is so important that guitar players should be taught this from the very beginning. I now apply what I already know and what I’m learning directly to your approach. Thank you; your book is just what I needed! “

I get these every couple of days from players who have had the mystery of how to navigate the fretboard solved. If you’re still looking for the answer, drop in for a visit. It’s so much easier than you think!

Slide guitarist? The Slide Guitar Forum is definitely hotting up; there are a bunch of us there always willing to share our thoughts, tips and tricks about the classy art of playing slide guitar.

OK, enjoy the lesson, listen to my own brand of music at my Soundclick page, see you next week.
