Dear friend,
I bought your "Guitar at Christmas" a few years back. I enjoyed it but have outgrown it. What do you have of an intermediate level?
Thanks

I was lucky enough to have been a student of Mr. Block’s many years ago…I remember taking lessons in his basement, on I think it was an old New Yorker, a guitar I’d cut my arm off to play again, except that doesn’t make much sense does it? He gave me my first job teaching at Dorothy Pearler’s music school…an honor I must say.
I want to take this time to thank him publicly for the education he gave me. I can read and remember some of his instruction, basically, dont move if you dont have to <g>, to the point where I’ve gone back to the standards and created my own arrangements of Sunny Side of the Street, Chantnoouga Choo Choo, Sentimental Journey, Basin Street Blues, Goody Goody, Gettin’ Sentimental Over You, Aint Misbehavin’, and my wildest accomplishment guitaristically, Moody’s Mood for Love (King Pleasure and Blosson Dearie). The value of my musical education doesnt tally in money; doesn’t begin to account for the knowledge he imparted to me and the pleasure I’ve derived from what I learned from him. So thank you Mr. Block. I only wish I was a better student of yours in the time we had together.
sincerely,

: : I’m am writing to find out if you have any sheet music to start to learn to play the guitar from a basic level.
I can play to and extent but want to progress but i tried other sites and its just puzzles me.thanks
I have had lessons on the guitar but even though this is my 5th year in learning I am only just learning to read music, because I have been using tab. I did learn to read music but very basic and our teacher left I am on my fourth teacher now. So now I am looking for some basic music to read and work out how to play, I would be grateful for your answers.

Leon’s guitar books are in the possession of so many fine guitarists. Friends of mine
all remember learning from his folios and enjoying the fine arrangements that are found
in his books.
dear Geoff- I do appreciate my being placed in your database. I am also not too familiar with computer skills. The exchange of
banners is only fair and I would be happy to do this but I don’t know how to do this.If you could help me do this I would
be much obliged. Leon
