These three new models follow after classic solidbody guitar shapes which include one guitar with “S” style double cutaway and two models with the “T” style single cutaway shapes, but flipped over for proper left handed playing. The sub-brand Vintage is a clever use of a term that many guitarists are fond of, referring to existing instruments that were built decades ago. And it seems that this is also the reason why the brand’s line of instruments normally follow popular old school designs. This time around, they are giving lefty players three new instruments to choose from, while retaining the same quality and accessibility as their right handed models.

This is a lefty take on the classic strat design, having a double cutaway body crafted American alder complete with left-handed configuration turquoise pickguard and electronics. The neck is crafted from one-piece maple, with a 25.5″ scale length and it joins the body via traditional bolts Giving it its voice are three matched and calibrated Wilkinson WVS single coil pickups, all of which are wired to a traditional 5 way blade switch. The pickups are tweaked to reproduce classic quack tones, while also having a modern hum cancelling mode to eliminate unwanted noise, something not found on actual vintage Strats. Wrapping up the features of this guitar include the Wilkinson WJ55 E-Z-LOK machine heads and Wilkinson WVC vibrato system, both of which work together to provide improved stability and reliability. The expected RRP for the Vintage LV6MSSB guitar is £289.

This guitar is a left hand version of the classic Tele, starting off with a solid American alder body with a familiar single cutaway shape. The one-piece maple neck also joins the body via bolt-on configuration, and has the same scale length of 25.5″. Like other Vintage guitars, this lefty model features Wilkinson hardware, including a set of WilkinsonDeluxe WJ55S tuners and the intonatable Wilkinson WTB bridge. Giving this guitar its T-style voicing are two single-coil pickups also from Wilkinson, called the WVTN Alnico for the neck and WVOB Alnico for the bridge. Both of which are designed to reproduce the classic Tele twang. The RRP for the Vintage LV52BS is expected to be £289.

Last but not the least, the LV72FTB is their left-handed take on the popular boutique “thinline” style, and is slightly more expensive than the previous two with an RRP of £309. It is described as having modern playability and reliability, while maintaining a classic look and having the same tonewood configuration. The guitar has an American alder body but this time around, it comes with a chambered design for different tone, and it also features book-matched flame maple veneer on the top to enhance the instrument’s looks. Neck specifications follow after the previous two instruments, with the main difference being the rosewood fingerboard. Giving this guitar its voice are two Wilkinson WHHB pickups, a Wilkinson WDG for the neck and a Wilkinson WTB for the bridge. The same Wilkinson WTB intonatable bridge and WJ55 tuners round up the features of this thinline guitar.
