Ibanez introduces a guitar that packs modern build and playability into a retro body shape – the Roadcore RC320.
This guitar features a unique asymmetrical double cutaway shape, and comes with its specially designed Core-Tone pickups.
As expected from Ibanez, the neck of this guitar is ready for fast and furious playing. It has a 25.5″ scale maple neck with a nut width that is measured at 42mm. Comfortable playing is assured with the neck’s 240mm Radius. The roud-profiled neck is then bolted into the body with a 4 screw metal plate joint.
The unique body of this electric guitar is made of mahogany. Its retro and vintage vibe is further enhanced by its dual binding and pickguard. The body also houses Ibanez’ Tight-Tune bridge which is said to provide improved string to wood transfer and keeps the strings intune longer.
Finally, the guitar is equipped with two custom-designed Core-Tone pickups, they provide a warm yet cutting sound that matches perfectly with the RC320’s mahogany body. The pickups are controlled by a traditional 3-way selector along with a master volume and tone knob.
The new Ibanez Roadcore is currently retailing in the UK for £289, and it is expected to be available in the US next year. You can visit Ibanez for more information.
