Icestand from D&A Guitar Gear

D&A Guitar Gear introduces the Icestand, a portable guitar stand that looks like it was carved from ice.

This new stand follows the same structural design as the Gigstand and comes in two models that support either acoustic or electric guitars.

The Icestand features a unique collapsible frame that transforms the guitar stand into a small and thin form that can easily be inserted into a gig bag or the back pocket of your jeans. It is designed to be used without the need for assembly or parts removal, allowing for quick setups and tear down. These qualities make the stand ideal when playing at venues where there are now guitar stands available.

p>Although it weighs just a bit more than the average guitar cable and looks like a fragile "ice", the stand's unique structure makes it durable and ready for the countless cycle of setups and tear-downs that you can throw at it. To secure your instrument, the stand feature a wide three-point base and non-slip contact materials.

The Icestand's unique transparent look is achieved by utilizing translucent materials, providing a nice visual that highlights the guitar and does not obstruct your view of your instrument. The stand's rounded non-metallic construction gives you the peace of mind that it won't scratch your precious instrument.

Ravi Sawhney , CEO and lead designer, shares the story behind his design choice: “We’ve been experimenting with colors and approaches to our stands that would make them even more contemporary and visually exciting. Ultimately, we landed on clear, which highlights every guitar and become almost ghost-like in its ability to suspend the guitar in air. Guitars are objects of beauty and the D&A Icestand does them justice!”

The Icestand Electric model is currently retailing online for $26.99, while the acoustic version costs $29.99. You can head over to HeyDNA for more information.
