This bundle comes with all the gear that a beginner needs to start playing, the main highlights being the Orange guitar and the Crush PiX 12L combo amplifier.
This affordable guitar package is launched right before for the Christmas rush, and it will be challenging the various entry-level guitar bundles from other manufacturers. Aside from the Orange branded guitar and amp, the bundle comes with a gig bag, guitar cable, headstock tuner, guitar strap and guitar picks.
Students of the instrument will also appreciate the bundled new Orange Music Education Rock Guitar beginner guitar tuition course that allow access to video tutorials and backing tracks.
The single cutaway Orange guitar is based on the familiar LP design, featuring straightforward playability and controls and the reliability of having a fixed bridge. This simplistic operation is then contrasted by the glossy orange finish which would certainly catch the eyes of many potential buyers. It also comes in two other colors – black and white.
The guitar is said to be crafted from solid Nato wood, and features a maple neck with rosewood fretboard. The medium / high output humbuckers are designed to give both classic and modern tones that are expected from dual humbucker guitars. Completing the features of the guitar is its chrome hardware that include Orange branded tuners, Tune-o-matic bridge, a three way pickup selector switch with two tone and volume controls.
The guitar is paired with the equally Orange Crush PiX 12L combo amp. For a small amp, it comes with essential controls including a three band EQ, overdrive, and master volume. It also has a headphone output for times when you need to practice quietly. The company says that the sound of this amp is suitable for a broad range of genres, great for beginners who are still figuring out their playing style. Being primarily an amp manufacturer, the quality of this practice amp will be the selling point of this guitar package.
The Orange Guitar Pack comes with a modern, soft padded gig bag embossed with the Orange logo for storing the instrument. It also has other Orange branded gear including an instrument cable, headstock tuner, six classic celluloid plectrums, a comfortable strap and a bonus guitar tuition course.
