Randall Amplifiers introduces new G3 Plus Series

Randall Amplifiers has introduced the new G3 Plus Series of heads, speaker cabinets and combos. Utilizing the tone circuit of the premier V2 and T2 amplifiers, the G3 Plus Series provides an even higher level of performance without the cost of a high end amplifier. The G3 Plus Series includes 3 high powered heads, 5 high powered combos and 4 cabinets designed to compliment the series. Each amp is powered by Valve Dynamic, the revolutionary Tube/MOSFET circuit designed by Randall to emulate the true dynamic tone and response of traditional tube amps. All G3 Plus Series amplifiers come with a 4 button footswitch and 3 models include 16 built-in 24-bit digital effects.

The G3 series becomes more intense and aggressive for 2008 with a completely redesigned preamp circuit, introducing G3 Plus. They took the tone circuit of their premier V2 and T2 amplifiers and installed it in each of the new G3 Plus models to provide an even higher level of performance without the costs of a high end amplifier. Choose between 3 high powered heads or 4 high powered combos to fill all of your tone and volume needs. With a menacing new semi-gloss black finish, G3 Plus also looks as mean as it sounds.

Well I hope these new models are more reliable than the plain G3 series. My G3 150 Kept cutting out when the MV was turned past 5 and it took a month ore two to get it sorted out- or so I thought – as it still does it now. After some research on the net I found that there are Randall users everywhere who have had the same trouble with their amps ranging from the G3 150-300 to 75 watt combos. I love the tone when it works and I’m reluctant to try the G3 plus unless I know I can crank it without it cutting out.
