I have a Big-Muff Pi which I purchased new in 1977. Is it the same as the ’69 model or would it benefit from a conversion? Even though I used it on the road for four years, it still wails! I use it with a ’71 Les Paul Custom into a 1974 Ampeg G410.
    Thanks,
    Mike

      Mr. Doucette,
I tried to contact you via E-Mail and your web-site, but neither would work. Do you still do modifications for the Big Muff Pi pedals? If so, could you E-Mail me, or post a working address? I am interested in purchasing a pre-modified one, but I cannot seem to get in touch with you. Thanks

    1. Hi Pedro,

Email me to discuss, SustainPunch has reorganized and a followup guitar pedal coming out in a couple months called the ICe3 "Icecubed" it can get incredibly realistic Marshall, Boogie and Fender tones, modeled closely to 3 famous tube amps — it is an amp simulator. overdrive, distortion and grunge fuzz box… can be used for direct-recording or in front of a PA or solid-state amp; the addition of the ICe3 breathes new life into little amps…

You want an SRV TS-808 sound? Tune it in. Seek that old VH brown sound? It’s close. We’re looking at tone possiblities from Vai and Van Halen to Eric Johnson and SRV to Metallica and Pantera. The knobs have big range, especially the EQ knobs, which are active and work as boost/cut controls. A little turn and lots of things happen.

Sound samples and settings will be on our new website.
