Taylor Guitars 2012 Road Show World Tour

Taylor Guitars is going back on the road this year to give fans an opportunity to get their Taylor questions answered.

Aside from pleasing the fans worldwide, the marketing people at Taylor want to conquer the world and “Taylorize” as many unsuspecting guitarists as they can this year.

These fun and informative in-store events will give you the opportunity to rub elbows with the people behind Taylor guitars, you can also play some of their one-off guitars and meet like minded Taylor aficionados.

More of a “hang out” session than an actual lecture – the road shows aim to provide you with the latest developments from the company including work in progress and soon to be released guitars.

Just like the previous years, the guys from Taylor will try to brainwash you into emptying your pocket for one of their fine instruments. They will share insights on their guitar making process and explain how their designs work and demonstrate the differences between different wood and body shapes. To make it interesting, you can ask some difficult questions like are they using renewable resources and maybe do a shootout between a Taylor and a Martin at the store! The best part of the Taylor Guitars Road Show however is the “Petting Zoo” portion, where you can try their variety of models.
