* Under Construction!!! * – Most accurate tabs on the ‘net, published by the webmaster himself…me! Most songs are transcribed down to the last note, and usually include lyrics as well. References to the actual song are made throughout the entire transcription to ease the process of learning along with instructions in case a certain symbol does not make sense to the player.

Krick is just about spot on… would just add a hammer-on pull-off trill with the little finger 3rd to 5th fret on the G (D bass) in the first part of the verse (or intro to it – can’t remember at the mo)
Instead of G, try sliding up to Em7(don’t change your finger positions, just slide everything up 2 frets)
I’ve checked my follow up and the chords don’t go above the right words you’ll have to work the changes out yourselves
Cheers
Rich
This may not be axactly the right chords but they do work!
Perhaps Brian or Mark are the best ones to tell us! These chords work for all the verses.

The Fmaj7 chord is played with an "A" bass note. Just so you know!

: The Fmaj7 chord is played with an "A" bass note. Just so you know!
If the Fmaj7 is played with an "A" bass note doesn’t that make it an A minor?
No. It just makes the chord inverted. Instead of playing F-A-C, you would play A-C-F.

Escape (The Pina Colada Song) – Rupert Holmes
Intro: All barre chords, play same rhythm throughout song
F A G F G C E D C
I was tired of my lady, we’d been together too long.
C F A G F G C E D C
Like a worn-out recording, of a favorite song.
C F A G F G C E D C
So while she lay there sleeping, I read the paper in bed.
C F A G F G C E D C
And in the personals column, there was this letter I read:
Chorus:
C F A G F G C E D C
"If you like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
C F A G F G C E D C
If you’re not into yoga, if you have half-a-brain.
C F A G F G C E D C
If you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape.
C F A G F G C E D C
I’m the lady you’ve looked for, write to me, and escape."
Mini Solo played after every chorus
—————-15—-I—13-12-13-12-3-I————–15—-I—13-12-13-12—I
———-13-16—–I—————I——–13-16—–I————-13I
—-12-13———–I—————I–12-13———–I—————I
——————–I—————I——————I—————I
——————–I—————I——————I—————I
——————–I—————I——————I—————I
I didn’t think about my lady, I know that sounds kind of mean.
But me and my old lady, had fallen into the same old dull routine.
So I wrote to the paper, took out a personal ad.
And though I’m nobody’s poet, I thought it wasn’t half-bad.
"Yes, I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
I’m not much into health food, I am into champagne.
I’ve got to meet you by tomorrow noon, and cut through all this red tape.
At a bar called O’Malley’s, where we’ll plan our escape."
So I waited with high hopes, then she walked in the place.
I knew her smile in an instant, I knew the curve of her face.
It was my own lovely lady, and she said, "Oh, it’s you."
And we laughed for a moment, and I said, "I never knew"..
"That you liked Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
And the feel of the ocean, and the taste of champagne.
If you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape.
You’re the love that I’ve looked for, come with me, and escape."

I think E and G chords work fairly well in the verses and G and C in the Chorus
please, if you know about a place that has the tabulature of the concert of ARANJUEZ, LET ME KNOW (MUCH BETER FOR FREE)
Have the tabs?
here’s the lyrics..can anyone help me find the guitar tab/music or even a chord chart…
much appreciated.#
