I don’t have much more information for you, except that I have the exact same guitar that I purchased on Ebay 3 years ago. When I saw it I had to have it because this model was the first electric guitar I ever owned. I originally bought one when I was about 15, which was in 1969. I always thought it was a cool looking guitar, a bit flashy for some but WTF. It’s fun to play and Is better than a lot of guitars made today. I don’t agree with that other site that you linked as far as it being Teisco. Look around the web at Aria, Conrad, some Univox and others from the Matsumoko factory and you’ll see the resemblance. They were made and then badged according to what the retailer they were sold by wanted to name them.
