Hey there glad to help. If you take a hair dryer and put it on the low setting not to close to the sticker it should heat it up enough to get the sticker off. Just be careful as the finish will soften as it heats and will indent and marr easily best to use a thin piece of plastic to get the edge up then peel it by hand, after you have it off take a clean soft cloth and some rubbing alcohol and wipe off the glue it may seem like it is not doing it but take your time and it will come off without harming the finish. Buff with guitar polish.
I work at a guitar shop in vancouver as a tech I came across this j walkers copy of a gibson sg it was in horrible shape but it was well made It
took a long time to get it set up and cleaned but I knew there was something different about this guitar, the quality was there. I plugged it in and it sounded better than the best gibson sg I ever played. This guitar is a high quality item from fit to finish I do believe the story they told you. The pick ups are very hot and emulate overwinding. the electronics are almost noiseless, the neck is fast and dead on making the harmonics perfect no easy feat, as a tech I beleieve this could well be a special order and quite expensive or custom made guitar. You do not come across this kind of workmanship in an on the wall copy guitar. I have been researching this guitar on line and at our in home library at work and cant find a thing. I hope this little bit helped if you find anything let me know and i will do the same.
