Guys, I have the same Guitar with the same issue! When I went to buy the guitar for around $250 (cdn) I wanted to test the tremolo system so I fully dumped it which resulted in cracking the block. I was not impressed after driving a hour and search High and Lo for this guitar and color (robins egg blue) for years! The seller refused to sell me the guitar but I offered him $200 for it as I wanted to replace it with a real tremolo as the ones on it are garbage thus why it broke. I think he had the wrong arm in it and it cracked the block which is constructed from a porous aluminum material. I found a similar used block but would have had to drill 3 new holes in the tremolo itself which is made of hardened steel! I also have been searching the net for used parts or similar Tremolo that’s post are also 72mm and can find nothing. I have found lots of licensed “Floyd Rose” units on eBay that range in price from 30-100+ (usd) however if you look close the metal is pitted and of cheap quality as well. The only good ones I can find are Original Floyds, Schaller, Gotoh brands that are all 150-250 usd. They also have a post distance of 74mm-74.5mm which means plugging and re-drilling new holes as well as possible routing for the tremolo action!. So I am at a loss as well. I have phoned many music stores and none seem to be bothered unless you want to buy a NEW guitar! LOL. Please keep me posted if you find anything??? Thank you in advance!
