Did you ever get that guitar identified? It looks like an old Framus, or a copy of one. Check these out: http://jazzgitarren.k-server.org/framus.html
thebirdParticipantEpiphone makes the AJ200s, which is a solid top, for $200. It is Indonesian, which is better than Chinese. I hope this isn’t too late. Have you bought one yet?
thebirdParticipantIt appears to be Chinese, made in Feb, ’01. I bought a Stagemaster at about that time but I don’t remember if it was Chinese. I think I paid about $230., new.
thebirdParticipantIs the neck set or bolt-on? What is the configuration? Can you post an image?
thebirdParticipantLooks like a Les Paul but I can’t tell which model. The top is flat as opposed to a carved top. Maybe this one?: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Limited-Edition-Les-Paul-Studio-Deluxe-Electric-Guitar?sku=581254
thebirdParticipantMy background should keep visitors and other newbies from feeling intimidated. Never been in a band. All I own is a Squire Standard
Stratocaster (black metalflake/white pickguard/maple fingerboard- Indonesian) and a Rogue 30w x 10″ amp. Recently lost my Epiphone PR350s (Korean), of 7 years, to a broken neck. (Thank you for your sympathy). I play for my own pleasure. Does that make me selfish? Merciful?thebirdParticipantHad to have been an angry “significant other”. I can see no other explination. Unless they were stolen and you were told that they were found in the trash.
thebirdParticipantI agree with the “Beatles” suggestion. I had already left when I thought of Creedence Clearwater Revival, and HAD to come back.
thebirdParticipantThanks. Got any more TDN?
