: I agree...Do NOT sell it. Take it to a luthier and have him set it up for you. Put some Martin lights on it and you will fall in love with it all over again. Happy Second Honeymoon!!!
Bought my 470 new, many years ago. The tone has mellowed to "wow" and its still solid as a rock. The thing is a gem. Use medium Martin silk and steel on mine. I've played Taylor, Gibson, Ovation, and Martin. Other guitars come and go but the Yamaha stays. I agree with the rest --- dont sell, you'll only regret when you cant find anything out there that sounds the same.
