i also own an estrada guitar, an A-600. i got it in bad condition andf after i repaired it i found that it goes out of tune fast even tho it isnt warped at all, the neck is straot and tru. i really love the sounfd of this guitar even tho all i kno is that it was made in japan some time during the 50s. when its in tune it has a great sound

Me too, I just bought a Ver old looking Estrada Telecaster copy at a pawn shop, it must be from the 60s or 70s. Anyone with any info on these guitars?? They seem worthy.
I have one of these … model CL3, made in Japan, there is an additional sticker inside that says University Music, Johnstown, PA… I paid $15 at a garage sale 15 years ago and it still is working great… I’m guessing its a good 30+ years old… but can’t tell you any more… stays in tune and the action plays easily… you might guess my main instrument is fiddle from my email address…I’d be interested in any other info you’ve learned on it…thanks! Laurie
I have a CL3 also. I found it in New York on the street in the 1980s when AIDs was decimating Greenwich Village and the contents of whole apartments were being abandoned to the Sanitation Department. It has a sweet mellow tone and easy action and has been dropped a hundred times and still comes back for more. I seem to remember an ad in SING OUT! magazine in the ’60s with a long-haired "folkie" girl playing an Estrada Great guitar–wish I could find another like it.
i have an estrada 12 string guitar. let me know if you are interested in purchasing it…kind of down sizing all my stuff. i have had it since 1977.
I found a CL3 in the garbage in New York and it has played with a wonderful tone and sweet action for 20 years. I thought Estrada advertised in the sixties in Sing Out! Magazine.
