      Mark:
You will need to find another exact guitar as yours and
borrow the missing parts to have them copied in a machine
shop- then send them out for plating, and of course replace the original borrowed parts……..Bill

  7. Rickenbacker truss rod parts
    Mike Kozemchak

I need to find a truss rod pair assembly for a ’77 Rickenbacker 4003 bass. It’s the older style. Rick doesn’t make them anymore, and I am having trouble locating anyone that carries them. My next step is to take the existing ones to a machine shop to have them recreated, but figured I’d try this first.

    Anyone? Thanks!

      Jason Pearson

I was running into the same prob. with my recording but i was missing the pickguard. The only place I could find is Chandler Musical inst. They specially make pickguards, control plates, etc. I know for sure they have the control plate for you because they sell it in a pair with the pickguard. Only prob. is sometimes they take a while cause they are backed up. Just ask about that when you call
      Good luck
