Hi!
Can somebody tell me how value is my Ibanez F-300CS Floral Series acoustic guitar? It is in good condition and it is from the year 1981. Im thinking it value is around 200 €. What you think?
Thanx!!!
Hi Jann. If you look up the website for a guy named Captain Ibanez, he can give you an honest $ value of your guitar. I bought a f-300cs a few days ago, paid $350 Canadian. It didn’t come with a case, but on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 9. It’s a real beauty.
I am looking for a white Ibanez SG Custom. I’ve been looking around my are for one but haven’t had any luck.

anyone no a price for ibanez performer 350, year 1981?

I was wondering if anybody knows value of LS300MS , serial #84031434H. It has dent on the body, but otherwise in great shape. Also would it be OK to get the dent fixed or is it better to just leave it alone? Thanks for help. kate
Hello Kate, my name is Stefan and i live in Sweden ni the city named Uppsala just outside of Stockholm, i’ve just came across a Ibanez LS300 MS a blue kind of sunburstblue don’t know the real name of the colour. Anyway i’ve got i valued here in Sweden and they Musicstore did take a real close look at it for two days and then told me the value was about 1000-1600 dollars thats about 8000-14000 swedish crowns, i hope that can help you some with your question about the value, they also said that if i wanted to sell it for what is really is worth i should talk to people in the collectors area or what you call it over there whereever you live…
My answer to your other question is leave it alone, every guitar has it’s own story, don’t ruin that with some fix becouse then it wouldn’t be original anymore…
Wish you the best… //Stefan (Sweden)
I have what I think is an Ibanez AR500 but I’m not 100% sure. Its a lovely guitar serial number 1900083. I bought it new about 15 years ago (think it was new.) It played it for about 2 years then went off to other guitars and this one has languished in its case ever since. I want to sell it and buy a Gibson Blueshawk to take its place in my collection. Can anyone tell me for sure what this guitar is and what it might be worth? many thanks
Absolutely brand new in appearance, 9.9, bought it for collection, very rarely played. Brown Sunburst (Antique Violin?), Maple body, maple 3-ply neck, rosewood fingerboard, Gibralter II bridge, Quickchange tailpiece, chrome hardware, Super 58 pickups, Smooth Tuner machine heads, SureGrip II control knobs. S/N 830461. Hard case, free shipping to U.S.A ONLY. Everything in MINT condition. Email me for photos.
$1150 firm.

I am looking for a good acoustic sounding solid Archtop Guitar. From what I have heard Ibanez made some great models back in the late 70’s – 80’s. What are the big differences between the FA models? I read that the FA-510 should sound very quiet and no-responsive acoustically because it has a very thick top. What about the Fa-800 in the 1978 catalog this model appears without a pick up. Is this a mainly an acoustic Guitar? How does it sound? Anyone here willing to sell one? I once tried a 1958 Gibson L-5 and I was amazed with the sound but not with price…

In 1979 – this guitar was light years ahead of its time- neck thru body – 24 frets – active circuitry- ( with parametric " EQ tone" tone equalisation circuit – with 3 separate rotary controls control treble , mid range and bass- and you can add or subtract those 3 tones )
Together with "tri-sound" super 88 humbuckers ( 1 x "3 way switch" for pickup selection) and ( 2 mini -toggle switches – giving you the choice of *humbucking , *single coil or * phase reversal for both pickups) and master volume , master tone and master pre-amp controls – this was light years ahead of its time. You can get every sound you can imagine with this set up.

This popular thread has been given its own page : 70’s Ibanez?
I found this vintage 70’s Ibanez guitar in a local store for around 150$. I am looking for a decent guitar to start playing with. I really liked the guitar, its playability, and its versatility. However, I want to know the model so I can see if I can get any better deals or see some reviews of it. I do not know the model name, but it looked like a Noodle(http://www.ibanez.com/product.aspx), with a metal pickguard, and the strangest pickup switches ive ever seen. the switches were two on/off switches(http://inventorspot.com/files/images/swi… it also had a normal toggle switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i hope you didnt by it for more than 500 i brought mine in to a guitar guy he looked it up online mine was made a little bit before yours , he said it was just about 380 and i gave him a confused look , he said he said it the reason being , its a great guitar but when ibanez released it, it wasnt popular no famous people were playin it , so they discontinued it dont go tryin to sell it , their good guitars though
I think mine cost around 300 EUR back in 1993-4 (well it wasn’t EUR back then but that’s the conversion).
I’d love to have more information about that guitar – woods etc… I quite like this guitar, good sound, I find, ages good.

I’ve been trying to find some info on this guitar. My father bought it new in the very early 70s (don’t remember exact year) and it was passed on to me. I love the fullnes of the sound. Mine is natural wood in color and has the 2 black inlays and stars in the frets. Is there a website to get info on these? value?
Thanks
Paul
Neck-thru body.
Anyone?
tnx,
mk

This popular thread has been given its own page : 1977 Ibanez 2470 L-5 copy FOR SALE ~WOW~
Do you still have the 2470 for sale? I would be interested [email protected]
Is this available? IF so,do you have a price and somepictures ?
: This is an awesome, super rare guitar. Ibanez model 2470 SOLID CARVED TOP L5 copy from 1977 with Tamura signed label, Super 70 pickups, and original case. Let me start with the sound…..well……I would put this up against any L5ces! It is fat and warm, and really nails that Wes tone. You just know…when you play even the single notes – It exudes that vintage ambiance or ‘atmosphere’. You almost expect to hear Tony Bennett or Diana Krall start in.
: This model is not to be confused with the laminated 2460 or 2461. The playability is great, with low action, super straight neck, and perfect frets. The Ebony fingerboard is in great shape and has real MOP inlays. The wood on the solid top is beautifully grained Spruce with lots of rays. The finish has an intense patina (yellowing) and amber coloring especially to the binding.
: This gem has a nice dishing (arch) that looks different than the laminated guitars. The back is a really gorgeous hard maple with very unique flame and figure. The level of craftsmanship is very high. You can tell these guys were loving their job. There was a finish crack repaired by the waist on the top.It was sealed and laquered. It did NOT go through the wood! It is totally stable and should not cause any further attention. It is a pro repair. Some wear on gold hardware, but in nice shape for 31 years old.Tuners upgraded no extra holes to Gibson/tulip-grovers. Originals also included.I cant say enough about what a great instrument this is! I planned to sell this months ago but just couldn’t get up the heart to part with it. They are getting very hard to find, and are quite a bargain considering that they are every bit as good as a Gib. Definitely a pro level guitar. The CASE has a split seam and requires some attention. It’s a nice case though with arched top and bottom sides.
: Selling to get outta hock. Feel free to ask all questions. Phone number available for serious buyers.

I have a very early 60s semi accoustic electric Ibanez that people have said is the pre George Benson grape colour tremilo arm needs work. What is it worth
: I have been looking everywhere for a 79-81 Japanese made Artist 335 style guitar in good structural condition, preferably AS100. If anyone is trying to sell one, let me know! I’d rather not buy something sight unseen, so mid-Atlantic or New England locations would be preferable. I would also consider buying an older carved-top ash solidbody Artist.
Greetings. I have an Ibanez Artist (Antique Violin) that has serial number B786682. What I found puzzling is that it has the new Ibanez logo, while all 78s I have seen have the old logo, it also has one pickup-split switch, besides the normal three way switch – which I have not seen either (there seems to be two more commonly). It also has some kind of "diamond" imitations on the cutaway horns, below the bridge and on the head. Anyone know which model this is?
If you send me pictures, I’ll help you.
tnx,
mk
