Hey guys, I also am looking for a guitar stool. Here is a site that offers Fender Stools (referred to as "barstools") for $119.00…Seems a bit high so I will keep looking. Anyway, here is the site address: http://namm.harmony-central.com/SNAMM00/Content/Fender/PR/BarStool/Barstool.html

Did anyoen find them ? Please email me if you have info.

The fender guitar stool is not a very good giutar stool. It’s more of a novelty item. An adjustable stool is better as a stool for playing your guitrar, with respects to proper playing position.

      jbrajkovich

Champs (the all tube ones from the 70’s and prior) are great sounding amps-you can turn the amp’s volume to 4-6 without giving a concert for your neighbors. Champs (silver face) go for as low as 150 – 200 last time I checked. Add about $50 if its a vibro champ (vibrato circuit). Double the price if its a black face.

Make sure the amp is fully functional with the volume turned up at least half way. Leave it on for at least 10-15 minutes to see if it dies. Some of these amps have weak tubes or output transformers that will die in that ammount of time. Check the speakers for pinholes or other physical damage. Repairs of internal components (transformers, etc are not cheap) so try to evaluate its condition before negotiating a price. Good luck.

: Can anybody tell me more about fender champ amps? I´m going to buy a one,so tips are welcomed

Fender Champ is probably the best sounding amp ever! Bar none. I have a 1959 tweed champ, I got it for $400, and it’s worth every penny. Breaks up nicely around 5 or 6, and absolutly screams past seven. I can’t attest for later models, but this amp is the holy grail of guitar amps. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Spend a little extra and get a tweed model, you won’t be disappointed! : Champs (the all tube ones from the 70’s and prior) are great sounding amps-you can turn the amp’s volume to 4-6 without giving a concert for your neighbors. : : Anyone have any info or a photo of the Fender Prodigy? Strat type of guitar, maybe like the Lead1&2?
Yeah… have had one since 1994… the body shape is like a mix between a fender Strat and an Ibanez RG 550/560. The body is either poplar or basswood, very light and resonant, amazing acoustic tone. The pickups are SSH configuration and all made by Fender. Mines got a rosewood fretboard, 21 frets and the headstock looks like a thinned down fender strat. E-mail me if you have any other questions about my guitar. I don’t have this www page bookmarked.

  4. 65 fender electric xii
    jason

i wa s wondering if anybody would know how much a 65 fender electric xii, with original case and minimal dents and scratches "stored for 15 years" all original hardware, would be worth?

    1. Re: 65 fender electric xii
      miguel

i think they`re listed at 1200$ But you talk about a rare vintage guitar,in my case i never saw an original 12 string fender where i live, (not far from montreal) it depends on how much you are ready to pay for a guitar like that. if you want, there is other way`s you could by a reissue but i don’t know if fender does this model yet.

      Simon Hall

Hi, I bought a Rock Pro 1000 when they were released just over a year ago. It’s a great amp, it’s a bit too powerful for home use without annoying they neighbours, it’s either too much volume or not enough tone. I payed £550 thats £ not $ and you can now buy them new for £299. So don’t pay too much,
      good luck

        Cam

Choosing a new guitar all depends on how ur going to use it. If ur a beginner, and u dont play very often, i would recommend the mexican strat since they are about half the price of an american. The mexican strats are basically the same as the americans except they are made from different wood, have cheaper pickups, and are not as detailed, but they both have the same feel.

        1. Re: NEED HELP CHOOSING A GOOD ELECTRIC FENDER
          Paul

Mexican Strats are great for beginners, but after awhile you may want to change the pickups and tuners. American Strats are very costly and I wouldnt recomend it as a first guitar. I think Squire is a good guitar for actually learning on electric right away. If you’ve been playing, acoustic or otherwise, you probably will want to move up.

: Folks, Simple question, your opinion! Are the strats that come from mexico as good as the strats that are made in japan or america?

About 4 or 5 years ago I would have said "God bless America!", but now I’m not so sure. Back when Fender started sending work south of the border, I saw a sample of the product, and I was not impressed. A year ago I bought a Fender P-bass that was made in Mexico, and I don’t know if it’s NAFTA, or what, but I’m more than happy with my bass.

  10. New Bass Amp
    Bdweller

I just bought a BXR-100 amp. I had a Peavey before that, and man what a difference. The Fender has something that the Peavey never will have, tone. It’s also a good deal more portable than the Bassman amps were.

There’s magazine Fender puts out called Fender Frontline, and it shows all current colers available. I say that because Fender has changed what colors are used
on specific models at various times in it’s history. For example in the 70’s Fender offered a Sea Foam Green that was a very light green, but I didn’t see it in the newest issue.

      Good luck.
