Gretsch announces the G6210 Eddie Cochran Signature Hollow Body Guitar

Following the release of its custom shop counterpart, Gretsch finally announces the release of the Eddie Cochran Signature Hollow Body model, the G6120EC.

This model is again based on Eddie Cochran’s main guitar – the orange G6210 from Gretsch, Chet Atkins hollow body.

The G6210EC has a single-cutaway body design, and arched top with three-ply maple back and sides. It has double-bound oversized f holes, a parallel bracing and features a “Western Maple Stain” finish. It is connected to a two-piece maple neck with a 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard, and has 22 standard frets with a western-themed pearloid inlays (steer horns, fences and cacti).

This guitar features a Dynasonic single coil bridge pickup, and a Lindy Fralin “The Dog Ear” single coil pickup on the neck position, which is connected to a standard three position pickup switch.

Other hardware includes the Bigsby B6GBVF vibrato tailpiece, an opaque plexi pickguard with the Gretsch logo, an aluminum bridge with rosewood base, the Bigsby B6GBVF vibrato tailpiece.

It also comes with a G6241 deluxe hard shell case, to protect the chrome and aluminum hardware and the gold plated Grover V98G Sta-Tite tuners.

The MSRP is $3,625.
