Fender worked with T.S.O.L. guitarist to produce a small bodied guitar with striking visuals, the Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor.
This parlor guitar is based on a combination of features from Emory’s own guitar collection, and comes at a surprisingly reasonable price.
This instrument is part of Fender’s Artist Design Series, which include great other great looking acoustics co-designed by other artists like Tim Armstrong.
This signature acoustic comes in two different versions – the first one comes with a sunburst finish reminiscent of the 1930’s, while the second model has a butterscotch-stain finish that resembles Ron’s ’52 Telecaster. Both models come with a classic parlor body shape, a 1970s-style Fender headstock and they have a scale length of 25.3″.
The Sunburst Loyalty Parlor follows a traditional acoustic build, having a spruce top matched with mahogany back and sides. The neck is also made of mahogany, topped with a rosewood fretboard with 19 frets. This guitar comes with a great looking Tortoiseshell pickguard to match the aesthetics of the finish.
The Ash Butterscotch version comes with an all-ash body, giving it a unique tonality compared to the first model. Instead of mahogany, the neck is made of maple, but it does have the same 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. A 1-ply gold pickguard is placed on top of the body.
For aesthetics, the Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor guitars come with Herringbone neck and body binding and they come with fretboards adorned by white diamond shaped inlays and a Loyalty logo inlay at the 12th-fret. Both guitars come equipped with Graphtech NuBone nuts and a Viking Style rosewood bridge with compensated Grapthtech Nubone Saddles.
The Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor is currently retailing for just $269. Get the latest price & reviews at Amazon.com.
