    Hello!
I have a pedal board and a multifx too.
With a multifx you can try many sounds, becuse you have many effects; you have digital and analogic out, therefore you can link the multifx to pc or a PA; the risck of breaches is much bottom; you can load many sounds with various settings; the multifx have a A/D D/A converter, and this lowers in quality;you can not change the effects.
A pedalboard have a great sound, but is less comfortable, the risk of breaches is greater, you can change the effects and is more expensive.
    Bye!

    Hi!
Careful at the polarity of the pick-up!
If you invert the cables you will have a out-phase sound.
This side-effect can be a defect or not.

I think that the sound is made in great part of the hands too.
But with an acustic guitar is impossible play a metal riff…or with a jackson in a mesa is impossible play a standard jazz!
Sure…the instruments are important but hands too….if the best guitarist of the world don’t has the adapted instruments?

    Hi!
Guitar pro is a good software, but it’s a program! Is this the problem!
A teacher is a person…he can transmit to you a new informations that are not only the position of your fingers…musical theory, experiences, impressions: these things guitar pro cannot teach.
If you try a software that can replace a tab it’s ok, indeed it’s a optimal program…it’s has many interesting functions…but it run in a computer and the computer cannot play a guitar!
Naturally it’s my impression…all is subjective!
    Wait other comments.

    Thanks 1bassleft!
The file is an exercise given to my from my teacher: I have had to play something in a blues.
I have played only the guitar…the other instruments are a midi file that I have modified by the computer.
The guitar that I have used is a fender stratocaster american standard, the amp is an amp-simulation (v-amp pro), I don’t remember the settings of the preset..but I had made the preset in little time.
If you want more information I’m here!

I have got a stratocaster american standard with serial number Z2 too.
Your guitar seems an american standard but the bridge is like a vintage…I now don’t remember if a strat std have a vintage bridge…my no.
The keys are not vintage and it has 22 freets (the vintage model have 21 freets), therefore I don’t think that your strat can be a resuisse,
Anyway you have a great guitar…
    Hi
