Hello! Joe Satriani is much better than Vai, although Vai is still awesome. The Satch taught Vai!

My input, get an Digitech RP90 MultiFX pedal. It’s cheap ($100) and you can do anything with it. You can even create your own custom sound

That serial number does looked slapped on as an after-thought.maybe someone had this as a ninteys guitar and wanted it to be maybe a more valuable 80’s? Just throwin it out there.

What you have is probably not a standard issue, but one of those made after people guitars…I think your dads’ guitar is a MTM2 (MicK Thompson from Slipknot). Or it could be the Apex1 or Apex2 from Munky. Please post me a picture of it and then I will be able to totally find out what it is, not just narrow it down. D

17- IF you ever screwed up on a scale or played a wrong note, the amp would start to rattle and would say…”You chose to fail at a song that is too hard for a loser like you.” Then, the amp would stop rattling and say…”You failed a song that is easy…do you wish to send an error report?”

18-You get chased out of all your gigs by angry mobs who found out you had iTunes on that thing….guitar-syncing is still cheating. D

Hey, 1bassleft, I finished! I looked up the #1 hit singles from 1970-2005, and then found out the artists guitars and found perplexing results. It seems that there is really no big…boost, shall we say, playing a gibson rather than playing a fender. I found that the largest amount of hit singles were by artists who’s bands don’t play guitars. If you want, I may be able to send you the graph and chart I made, but I’m not sure how. Please reply. Hey, I was on my favorite band, Kamelot, website, and on Thomas Youngblood’s bio, I saw that he’d plays an ESP guitar, and me not knowing that brand, I looked it up. I’m in love. If you’ve ever played the Limited ESP Ax-50, please tell me how it is ‘cuz I’ve scrapped my idea for the Firebird.

Hey, I got summer vacation in a week, so I could work on it. What innacuracies did you spot on my “Let’s Get Started” page. This is kinda ramdom, but if like prog, look up Kamelot, they are the best, but don’t listen to thier first 3 albums, for the singer is not the one they have now,Roy Khan, and the old singer makes my ears bleed in the not so good way. Oh and if you like insanely awesome guitarists, you have to look up Matthew Mills. He’s AMAZING D

Ya, the Gibson’s are cool but on some of the LP’s, the neck feels soooooo small width wise. Also, the bodys are really tiny, but they weigh SOOOOOOOOOOO much. I like the SG’s, but they are too widely copied, so the flashy-“I gotta Gibson” effect is kinda tuned down…way down. I really like the Firebirds, but I just can’t find one that doesn’t have that worn cherry look, I like the vintage sunburst. While I’m on, could you tell me if this was a fair traid, or if it’s better for me or the guy I traded with.
My Gibson/Baldwin (very used with some minor problems) for his Dean Vendetta (I think XMS with the non-flashy body) and a Vox Valvetronics 30-watt amp. ! ? ! ? ! ? ! idea arrow wink roll twisted evil x P oops cry lol 8) ? shock D ) ( o

OK… but you guys didn’t answer my question… what do you guys think of the Epiphone Firebirds?

That would be kinda cool, but would take alot of time. Look up The USed and tell me what you think. I think they only have one good song that was introduced to me on my favorite show Moonlight. The band plays Gibsons, but I don’t belive they are very talented. I know I’m not the one to talk, for I’m in a no name band W/out a bassist and I’ve created the widely unknown music genre.. Love Metal. It’s MMS (massive metal shreding) with love lyrics sung by… well, I’m working on that. ( But in the words of AC/DC “It’s a long way to the top if ya’ wanna rock n’ roll”. The sad thing is that at my age, not many of us are serious at what we play… and I am one of the serious ones. Well… off to school I go. Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, but I’m looking for something a little more…standout-ish. Something easily recognizable but nothing too flashy, not like Prince’s guitar. I also think used is the path is better for me because A. it’s cheaper B. the guitar is probably brocken in, without that wierd new guitar string feel. What do you think about a used Les Paul or Firebird, preferably Gibson, but Epiphone is also nice. Oh, does Gibson even make the Firebirds anymore, ‘cuz I didn’t see it on thier website.
