Well… wimpy? Umm… I put them on my little Fender Starcaster… which is only available at Sam’s Club! So wimpy describes the guitar itself, but It has been my favorite pick up and play guitar, and those strings are really comfortable on the fingers. I’ve had them on since October and they are still brand new looking and feeling. I’ve only had one problemo cuz I might have over stretched the strings so tuned to standard E the strings tend to pull when strumming and not just… i don’t know… twang?!?!? off the pick. Is it even possible to over stretch?

I searched Kingston on musiciansfriend and all it came up with were bass guitars… high end ones. If it is a bass, this isn’t the section to post it on cuz I believe thier is a bass section on this website. I also don’t play bass so I’m not of much help thier….. BUT if it is an acoustic(an acoustic is a guitar with a hole in the midle of its body), there are two kinds of acoustics that take different strings… nylon/classical with (shockingly) nylon strings and steel string with (again; shockingly) steel strings. A Nylon/Classical is easily spotted because of the hear (the top part) has semi-square holes in it with normally white bars running across them. If it’s that kinda guitar then I’d recomend D’Addario EJ45 Classic Normal Strings… you can get them here
    http//accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/DAddario-EJ45-ProArte-Classic-Normal-Classical-Strings?sku=100307

IF it’s a steel string acoustic (solid head) then I’d recomend D’Addario EJ17 Phosphor Bronze medium acosutic strings. You can find them here
    http//accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/DAddario-EJ17-Phosphor-Bronze-Medium-Acoustic-Strings?sku=100183

If it’s an electric guitar (totally solid or with F holes toward the side on the front of the body) I TOTALLY recomend Dean Markley Yngwie Malmsteen Ball End Super Light Electric Guitar Strings. These can be found here
    http//accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Dean-Markley-Yngwies-Ball-End-Nickel-Steel-Super-Light-846?sku=101087

    Hope that helps!!! )

Actually , he plays a wide range of nps/m… he plays soft parts (Come on Baby) or he plays nasty tappy licks (Surfing).

Actually 1bl… I didn’t copy and paste that… I wrote it out. So just Type it in and go!!! I’m suprised that basswood isn’t that good… The JS series is almost all basswood, I think, and the Satch knows what he’s doin’.

They actually found this post and used it in an e-mail… I think that would’ve scared off any scammy peeps. He actualy used the “lumberjack” line in an e-mail! He seems pretty cool, and I highly doubt that they would risk there whole buisseness on $200, and if they ever did, they would be outa buisseness in a second, and thier 100% ebay feedback report says somethin… I’m goona ask If they’ll give me a 30 day return policy.
