Airline ’59 Coronado was just released by Eastwood Guitars.
This new Eastwood Guitar is the company’s tribute to Dan Auerbach’s vintage Supro. It features a black rubber binding around it’s clear white body. The black headstock with white binding then offsets the color of the body for a nice visual contrast.
The 25 1/2″ scale ’59 Coronado features a chambered Mahogany body. This will give you a unique classic chamber tone. It sports a Rosewood fingerboard, with block markers, on top of it’s Maple bolt-on neck. It is set up with zero fret, fast low string action for ease of playing.
The Airline ’59 Coronado is equipped with Wilkinson tuners, a TonePros Roller Bridge and a Bigsby tremolo which not only adds to the sonic palette, but also improves the aesthetic value of the guitar. It’s electronics include two Alnico Hot-10 Humbuckers controlled by a 3-way vintage switch plate, and each pickup is controlled by a separate volume and tone control knob.
Lastly it comes with a deluxe custom Airline Hardshell Case, which rounds up the nice features of the Airline ’59 Coronado.
