This latest model follows the main philosophy behind Gadow hand crafted guitars, combining vintage vibe with a modern flair.

The Bird was created in response to customer requests to have the classic body Firebird shape with improvements on playability and tone.

The Firebird design was created under the leadership of car designer Ray Dietrich. The Firebird mimics the lines of mid-50s car tailfins, it was a rounder take on the Gibson Explorer shape. because of its the longer right-hand horn of the body, some mistook the design as the reverse if a Jaguar or Jazzmaster, this gave it the nick name “reverse”.

Gadow now updates this same design with their brand of hand crafted quality along with premium components. It comes with a mahogany body with a figured maple top and has a set south African Mahogany neck. The neck features carbon fiber reinforcement and is topped by an Indian rosewood fingerboard.

The guitar also features premium appointments that include Kluson tuners and a Tone Pros bridge. Should you choose to get one, you can pick between Gadow handwound humbuckers or p90 pickups and other options like having tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail or a Bigsby tremelo.

This model is designed to have a 25” scale length and is offered in solid body, with or without binding. Gadow Guitars describe the tone of this guitar as something similar to a warm vintage tone with bright and punchy highs.
