(in case you were going to ask)
glwParticipant
(an acoustic is a guitar with a hole in the midle of its body),
Sorry, but that’s a CLASSIC!
glwParticipantIt’s not the kind of guitar that will accumulate in value. But what does it matter? What’s it worth to you? If you play it and enjoy it that’s all that counts.
glwParticipantAs ever I’ll ask: Any photos?

glwParticipantAsk the guys over at http://www.ovationfanclub.com/ – they’ll know for certain!
glwParticipantA WHAT?
A Google image search doesn’t help much.
glwParticipantTake it to a music shop and get them to sort it out for you.
glwParticipantIs it an electric guitar or an acoustic?
If it’s acoustic are the strings nylon or steel? (Even a nylon set will have 3 strings wound with wire, so don’t say “some are metal, some are nylon”).

Check the location of the jack socket. Weird, eh?
They could have finished off the headstock.

glwParticipantIf you’ve not already been there, http://www.mark-cole.co.uk/teisco/index.htm is a good place to start.

Pt.2 #72033glwParticipantglwParticipant

what amazes me is, those relics go new for £1650 -£2000, and a used one will go for £1200, why the hell would you want a new one?
Interesting. So, relic Fenders don’t keep their value?
Everything new loses the VAT doesn’t it? except maybe new houses..
But as soon as you walk out the door you have lost 17.5%.
I’ve sold a number of Japanese Fenders for more than I paid for them so I can’t see how you can say they lost value. Gained value, I’d say.
