Ah, when you said Status, I was thinking you meant Status Graphite, makers of the now legendary basses (often headless).
They did make a few guitars in the early days too.
glwParticipantThis one was on eBay recently – hope you saw it.

glwParticipantWhatever it is, it’s Burns inspired.
glwParticipantHave any of you heard of a Japanese manufacturer, supposedly now defunct, called Harayama?
Apparently they supplied guitar bodies and necks to DiMarzio – who used to sell a whole catalogue of parts, not just pickups – in the late 70s/early 80s.
glwParticipantI think it might be an Encore.
It looks very familiar.

This one I call “Toddler wrestles with a balloon whilst a goose attacks from behind”.
glwParticipantI’m afraid the only info I could find was that it was a “rare” model.
glwParticipantIn that case I can see your problem. It might be worth having that area filled in with a piece of timber so you can use a more commonly available type of bridge.
glwParticipantIt looks familiar but I can’t place it…
Is the body routed in the bridge position? Any chance for a close-up of that area?
glwParticipantThis one?

It might be worth checking though all the guitars over at http://www.fetishguitars.com
Here’s another 12-string version:

glwParticipant
No almost all acoustics have a sound hole… except for some ovation’s and applause’s
It’s your definition of an acoustic guitar that kills me.
glwParticipantWell, I’m none the wiser but it certainly an original looking guitar. You won’t look like everyone else playing that.
Looks to be nice quality too.
glwParticipantHey, DD! How’s tricks?
