I might be… if you post the link properly. 🙂

Wow !! the Urber Nafter outlet-shop really is spoiling us with this offering, i suppose because it’s an original 59′ its worth the ten grand price tag, and i suppose it sounds just like Erics, even without pickups, strings, tuners, tailpiece, tone/vol pots and wire.
What a load of rubbish, ‘excuse me while i kiss the sky’ .

I have a Cry Baby, i didn’t like it either, i converted it into a volume pedal, and didn’t like that either!!
I then bought a Morley Wah and i found it easier to control and the sounds was better in bypass, i don’t know if it’s a true bypass, but it’s well worth a look, and i got my used one for around £60.

if it’s a bolt on neck about £150 – £250 depending on model and condition.
a set neck, about £200 – £300.

I would be tempted to go for the Classic 57 plus. It has the Alnico II magnet, a lot of the gibson jazzers use them.
I think your Ibanez has a Ceramic magnet so the Alnico will at least give a warmer tone.

No your not the only one, i have a Jap Strat squier model from 94, it too suffers with the same broblem but i just left the string a little # , not bothered me much, im sure others must suffer with it.
The whole bridge could do with going back 5mm, easier said than done though..

Sorry ive taken so long to reply.
It sounds like the toe switch, if you can get a voltmeter set it to continuity,
it should beep when you touch the 2 (black and red?) tips together.
on a DPDT switch you should have 6 terminals, 3 across the top, and 3 across the bottom, you should have a cable going from the input jack to one of these and then off to the output jack.
So lets say the the terminals are numbered like this:

1 2 3

4 5 6

you should press the toe switch and put your tester on terminals 1 and 2 if you do not get a beep then you should then move your tester to 2 and 3, if you still dont get a beep then you have a possible faulty switch, then try the same with terminals 4 and 5, and then 5 and 6, once you get the beep click the toe swicth and test again you should get opposite results, so if 1 and 2 beeped before then this time 2 and 3 should beep.

let us know how you got on.

salvage the dimarzios, the rest is skip fodder.
The pickups are probably worth £30+ each.
My mate swears by his Crafter always brings it instead of his Les Paul Studio (much to my annoyance 😉 ) need more info and preferably pics tho, to be off much use.
Ive always associated Crafter with acoustics, your not suggesting he replace a Les Paul with an acoustic?? don’t the Crafter electric guitars go under the banner of ‘Cruiser’ ? I’m probably wrong, but Crafter guitars are very very good, I’ve got a Crafter parlour acoustic guitar, solid top, mahogany back and sides and a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, and it plays a dream, even after my wife Julie knocked it over and broke the headstock off of it!!, i glued it back on with some Evostick PVA and its as good as new.
I always recommend Crafter, top value guitar.

How about those little Danelectro pedals, cool cat and hot tuna, those things take your very nice Les Paul tone, pass it through an on board effects processor and craps out some rubbish to your amp, leaves you scratching your head thinking.. did i really pay £30 for that??
