information on mercury series by washburn

does any one know nething about the mercury series that washburn did from the mid 90s. i have a washburn mg24 and i am seeking info on it i have been looking all over the net and have found nothing any information about this guitar or ne1 has a guitar like it please free to email me cheers grimmy

Woooo! I thought I was the only person in the world to have a Washburn Mercury II series, I would also like to know some info on it.

Does anyone know what the original price was for this guitar? I had to have another preamp put into the guitar and hope it was worth the cost.

The original MSP in 1993 when the guitar was made was $892.00
I have one only mine is brown and it's an excellent guitar.ENJOY

I got this from a website, just looking for curiosity because I have had one for about 6 years and wouldn't part with it, it's a great guitar.
I found this price in www.musicshack.net, If it's as good as my 1992 model (if I understand the serial # correctly), $599 is quite a deal.

I paid 300.00 for one with hard shell case 3 years ago. I can't seem to find any info on the web as to what it sold for new. The guy I bought it from sold it to get christmas presents for his kids. I wouldn't sell it now, it's my main recording acoustic.

Washburn ec36

I have a George washburn signature series extended cutaway 36 fret guitar in excellent condition. It is black and red "crackle" paint. It has floyd rose tremolo with locking nut, with rosewood fingerboard. It has a seymore duncan humbucker pickup with a custom "splitter switch/output /volume" to allow single coil only. it also has a tone control knob. It is a very unique guitar that was sold for $1199.00 before the custom electrical work was done. I would be willing to sell it with a hard shell case.
