Guild Madeira A14

Hey there
Am looking at a guitar being sold locally at the moment...its a Guild Madeira A14, and the asking is about £200. Is this guitar worth it. I read on one of the replies that A stands for Abalone, but it said these were fake...what does that mean? Anybody understand out there?!

Hey, just read your post. Listen if its worth anything it should have a serial number. If it does then check t out on a uild web site. Cant remeber off and but check goole and one will pop up. I just nearly got stung with a guild F40.
Been lookin for noe for years but gotta be the right one.
