I have a Guyatone guitar that has a model #LG-195T. It has 2 silver pickups, roller bridge, 3 way switch at the bottom front, 3 control knobs and the forward strap holder is on the top back of the instrument. Has anyone seen this animal and know circa it’s Birth year???

I am looking for a Truss Rod Cover for my new DeArmond (Guild Starfire IV). The original one said "by Guild Starfire" on it. It was Black and the three words were in Gold. The word/logo "Guild" was peaked in the Middle as always. If not this cover I would like to find one that says "Starfire IV" or just "Starfire" or just a plain star on it.
If you have one or know where I can find one, please let me know.
I have a 1965 EB-0 that I am thinking about parting out, due to the fact that some jerk replaced the humbucker with an EMG and routed out the body to make it fit. Everything else, including all hardware, is original and in very good condition. Are you interested in the bridge? The ’65 had the two-point bridge, I’m not sure about the ’69.

I would like to make him an offer and don’t want to offend him but don’t want to pay more than it’s worth. He claims it’s in "mint" condition but does not have the original case. Anyone know what a fair offer would be? Thanks! Ed
Strat type neck profile no identifying marks however and has a screwed in cross bar type of string tree affair.
Strat style neck mounting plate
Truss rod cover missing
Solid body quite small and light in sunburst
Single pickup with Volume and tone controls located on the black scratchplate next to the flush jack socket.
Kay sticker on scratch plate above controls
The bridge arrangment is Gibson like (tune-o-matic ish ??) but also consists of an ashtray type tail piece where the strings are secured. The tune-o-matic part appears to be just for action adjustment ??

I am looking at what I think is a 1934 L-50. The tailpiece and pickguard have been replaced. There may have been a few other repairs that were professionally done so the guitar looks to be in excellent condition. No case(bummer) is $850 a good price? e-mail [email protected]
Hi there: I also have a Kay flattop tenor guitar, sort of a scaled-down K-22 jumbo with a 13-inch lower bout and tenor banjo neck. I assume it’s the same as yours. Mine does have the metal Kay logo headstock plate, which is actually thin stamped aluminium and held on by three pins. This style of plate was used on a number of different budget Kay models, so one should be possible to find eventually. (NOTE: it’s the plate with the K symbol in a black circle, not the similar one with the K symbol in a black triangle.) Do you happen to know the actual Kay model number for these tenors, and the years between which they were produced? I can’t find any info on these anywhere online. They’re clearly rarer than hens’ teeth. My tenor was bought on eBay from Norfolk, England, and may be the only one in the UK for all I know. It still has the vendor’s label on the back of the headstock: Carl’s Guitar Studio, E Fulton St, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Incidentally it’s exactly the same instrument as the Silvertone 661 shown in silvertoneworld.net, except that the 661 has a simple decal in place of the plate.

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1976 Gibson J45/50 that seems in good shape. Tuning pegs are not original, and have been replaced with black keys (don’t know the brand name). The asking price is $1,600 Cdn. Guitar has a beautiful tone, but don’t want to get soaked. Also concerned about resale value in future. Feedback?

You have to love it. If you don’t love it, you won’t pick it up and play it. I keep both of mine out of their cases, on stands. So just grab and play. Forget about resale. Get what you love and will play.
Feedback?

I have a 1971 Fender Stratocaster and am looking for preferably 1971 parts, if not 1970 Fender Stratocaster parts will work. I need original gray back pickups, an all-original complete bridge with tremelo and springs, an original pickguard, an original tremelo cover, original volume and tone knobs and original pots. Let me know what you have and how much you are asking for your item(s).
