Teisco Kimberly Les Paul copy

I bought a guitar from a friend yesterday. It is a Kimberly(its in a name plate on the head) Les Pual copy. It had two humbuckers and three knobs a switch and jack on the front. The body has nice looking binding so does the neck and head. It is black and i love it. That is all that matters but i would like to know a little about it.....

I had a black Kimberly Les Paul. It was my first guitar and I loved it. Do you hav a picture of it?

What you have is a Univox, the Kimberly name was used by LaFayette Electronics of Syosset New York. They died circa 1976, so I figure yours is 1971-76 vintage. Nice student axe. I have one in pieces for rebuild. Gerry
