TRYING TO FIND OUT WHICH PARENT COMPANY MADE THE GUITARS WITH "PHANTOM" ON THE HEADSTOCKS IN THE MID 80's... VERY WELL BUILT, SOLID GUITARS WITH NECK-THRU-BODY DESIGN,( NOT BOLT ON NECKS)... I THINK IT WAS EITHER WASHBURN OR IBANEZ... THANX SKEETER

What is this Phantom guitar

:Yeah i got a "phantom" solid body, strat like guitar and id like to know where it came from, its got a "Floyd Rose III" bridge and has a dark blue color. thanks

They were their own entity, however the guitars were "parts" guitars. The bodies were made by ESP. I got one in 1986 (a Superstrat H/S/S style) it was my first electric guitar.
