Broken Tremolo Bar piece left inside

help! I was screwing the tremolo bar to the guitar and it suddenly broke off. The bottom bit is still inside.. How can i take it out??? is there any way??

If you are semi-mechanically inclined you can probably use an electric drill and a bolt exctactor. You should be able to find one at a hardware or auto parts store. There should be instructions on how to use it on the package...or just ask questions while you're there.

Keep an eye on e-bay. There were two Yamakis on there a couple of weeks ago, one a beautiful copy of a Gibson 'Hummingbird' model. Also, try Canadian music stores on-line. There were a lot more Yamakis sold in here than the US and my son recently bought one out of Winnipeg, like new, for a great price.

Hang in there, you won't be disappointed!

Hey, i have an early 70's yamaki custom.It's an exact copy of a les paul custom and she smokes!!!!
I use this guitar giging on a regular basis along side a tele and a strat, and the yamaki blows them away with tone...............anyhow, i dont really have much info on yamaki and i was wondering if you maybe able to help me..

my guitar is tuned to a drop c, and i have noticed that the bridge is crooked,it's like it's being pushed down by the bottom 3 strings. the area by the
15th fret is starting to curve towards the soundhole.(it's acoustic.) i need help on knowing whut's wrong with it. thanx

Its your truss rod. take it in to your local guitar shop and they'll fix it

first plug the guitar into the wall. next, swing it around above your head while holding your breath. Finally check the skimatics and add five to the sun i mean the sum.(remember to connect it to the wall first)

I own an F235 Yamaki 12-string guitar that I purchased in Minneapolis in 1973. This instrument was certified on 12-3-73, as indicated on the inside. My problem is, I need to replace some hardware on the head that wore out. I can still play it as a 6-string, but I sure miss having all 12. If anyone knows how I can possibly replace some nuts and gears I would be eternally grateful. I love this old guitar and I miss the whisper sound of all 12 strings. Thanks.

Single Humbucker, No Knobs (Wiring?)

I have recently been given a solidbody electric guitar with no electronics. The way I see it, a good pickup likely won't need a volume or tone knob, but I am unsure how to solder the pickup to the jack without getting all this extra hum. Since humbuckers are supposed to kill the hum, I know the problem is that I am wiring it incorrectly. How would I go about hooking it up?

you sound like you have a ground problemon the side of the jack that the braid of the wire should have a wire running to the bridge or to the tremlo screws

Has any one fitted a "Schaller LPTremelo" to a Les Paul. They are supposed to be surface mounted and need no drilling etc.
1. How do they fit ?
2. When fitted does it change the guitar tone ?

You can't reall use it as an amp in the sense of amplifying your signal before going to a speaker cabinet. But there's software and hardware out there so you can plug in to your computer, record, play with effects, etc. Good luck finding something that works for you, though. It's hard to tell the crap from the good stuff.

BASIC GUITAR CHORDS..AND MORE--by Dick Bennett.
it starts off kinda wierd and choppy, but you'll make it through

Learning to read music is easy. Learning to play well is not. Actually, you have some choices. A visit to a good music store can be useful. There are many beginner's books that teach you the basics of guitar music reading. Browse and pick the one you like best. Once you have learned the basics, I would advise that you find a good teacher and take some lessons.
