Fender Twin noise

My 2000 Fender Twin makes extra noise like someone's tuning an AM radio. This happens all the time (when a guitar is plugged into it, and when nothing is plugged in to it). It doesn't matter what volume (0-10). Otherwise it sounds great. Any ideas???

I have an Ensenada acoustic guitar. I am looking for more information about it. I got it from my father sometime in the 70's. It is very large at the base and has been modified to be electric. Can anyone supply me with any information? I would appreciate it. Thank you.

did you try using each of those with things that you know work? Like going to a friend's house and pluging your guitar into their working amp with a working cable and seeing if your guitar works, then doing the same for the other two components?

8 simultaneous effects on AX1000G?

I recently purchased a Korg Toneworks AX1000g Multi-effects processor, and it's great, except on the specifications it says the maximum number of simultaneous effects is 8, when I can only figure out how to get four. So if anyone can tell me how to get 8, or at least tell me why they can advertise 8 when I think it's only 4, I would appreciate it greatly.

Oh, and this one is probably pretty obvious, but I just want to clarify: When it says I can have 80 programs, it means the 40 presest plus 40 others that you can write over the prests with. So you could really only acess 40 effects at one time. Just makin sure I'm not missingsomething.

Have any of you guys seen the XT line of Warriors made by Jackson? They are a cheap version of the Jackson Warrior guitar. I wan wandering if any of you may have seen one in person because I need to know if the Harware on that particular guitar is Black or Silver. I have seen websites where on one, they are Black, but on the other the hardware is silver.

good get yourself some EMG actives. you can get like 15db's more then passive out of them. they are pretty raspy ay

hell-i have a lado i found in vancouver in some pawn shop!these guitars are pretty serious,and extremely well made!its a small company that makes custom orders only,and theyre pretty expensive!mine is the golden wing-maple on maple neck-through-sound wild!

Someone's trying to sell me an Ibanez bass guitar. He doesn't know its model number, and claims that it doesn't have a serial number. How can I tell if it's genuine? Are there any specific things to look for?

Is that electric or acoustic? Most electrics have two small circular things like buttons, located at the very bottom of the guitar, and at the side by the top of the fretboard. You should be able to clip the strap to them. Most acoustics have these too.

from the sounds of things, it seems like you have one of those acoustics that doesnt have strap pegs/buttons on it. what you can do is.. take it to a guitar tech. my guitar tech shows up at the Guitar Center chainstore a few times a week. they are sometimes really good people and do the "chain store" thing as a part time gig to make some extra cash. but take your guitar to the guitar center... ask to see the guitar tech.. and tell him that youd like to attach strap pegs to your guitar. its a pretty simple and basic procedure. i had him drill one into my alvarez-yairi a few months back. and while it was painful to watch.. it was for the best. and he charged me like $10. he'll probably just ask you to pay for a set of two strap pegs, which guitar center carries in its guitar parts/accessories section.. and those are really cheap. and then he'll just charge you probably about $10 to drill them into your guitar. when you have those installed, it will be pretty elementary as to how you attach your guitar strap. hope this helps!

Guitar Strap Help

I have a Yamaha FG-335, which has one knob at the very bottom of the body for the strap, but I see no such place on the neck or head of the guitar to attach the other end of the strap. My friend bought me a new strap, but it is not the kind with ties. It has holes on either end for a knob. Am I missing something? Please help!
