is that Angland in Europe?? Baldwins of that year are probably worth about £300, or about $500. the Anglish didnt make very good guitars.... still dont.

Les paul, i have played many Strats and have owned a few but nothing cuts it like a Les Paul and a Marshall, but of course you can never compare the 2, they are chalk and cheese, but i prefer cheese.

need to know bout an old guitars worth

my grandpa just gave me an old guitar. its a YAKIMA and i cant find that brand of guitar anywhere online! did they stop makin them and i need to know if its worth anything. it sound absolutely perfect, in fact one of the best sounding guitars i have ever heard! please write me and let me know if worth anything or if i just got a kickass guitar!!!!

I don't know what it's worth but I have one too. It's a Les Paul copy. I upgraded the pickups and it plays great. My mom bought if for me around 1982. I play it every now and then. It has a rich dark sound and has a good lead and rythym sound. I think my mom paid about $100 for it back then. I don't think they make them anymore. Just hang on to yours. Some famous rock star will use one someday and they'll be worth something;-)

I have acquired a CIMAR guitar and am wondering where I can find a history on it.Are all CIMARS made by Ibanez ?? looks like a strat if that helps ?? Never seen one like this !!

i have had the ax1000g toneworks guitar effects for over a year now, and i still haven't mixed it enough to get the exact sound of paul gilbert. i could play most of his tunes hands-down BUT i still couldn't get the exact sound of his guitar.for example, his intro of (mr. big's) the song "green 0tinted sixties mind" can anyone help me?what effects should i use? high gain distortion-flanger or fat distortion-chorus? i'm still searching for his sound. like how much distorition or chorus/flanger should i use?

Gretsch 100th Anniversary

Does anybody know the appx. value of a Gretsch Synchromatic, model # G-1514M, serial number 88/100?
There was only one hundred of thses made, and they look just like a Gibson Les Paul, but made by Gretsch.
Red and yellow sunburst, new condition.

im looking for a neck thats most comortable to me. I'm looking to get a fender and know they have many different kinds.. i have relatively small hands so does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of neck shape i should get? please post reply

If you want a small neck then avoid any 50's style fender reissues, they tended to have chunkier necks.
you realy have to got to the shop and pick up a few, Gibson do a realy nice 60's tapered neck, but you need to pick up a few fenders and play them

Two fret chord

Im pretty new to learning guitar btw! but little confused on finger placements! if u got a chord where ur 1st finger goes on 3rd fret on the E nearest you and the other two fingers go on the 5th fret (may be E5 if u get me). there is a fret divide but do u stretch using fingers 1 2 and 3 or do u use 1 3 and 4 cos using 1 3 ansd 4 is really wierd wondering if im doing it right ! :s

there is no wrong or right way to play this or many other chords . just play it the way it feels most comfortable . i myself use both ways normally with my 1st finger barring the 3rd fret and my 3rd and fourth fingers doing the rest but it is useful to learn the other way also so you use the 1st 3 fingers doing the chord leaving the fourth finger free to play other notes so you can make other chords

How To Get Heavy Distortion On Carlsbro GLX100

Anyone out there know how to get a heavy distorted sound out of the carlsbro glx100 without pedals? I bought a 'Boss Mega Distortion' coz it sounded awesome on a marshall amp but it sounds really bad on this one - think its coz its got a valve emulator in it (which i personally dont like).
